Strategic Materials Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to websites or platforms where it appears.

This platform or website is operated by Strategic Materials, Inc. (“Strategic Materials”). This policy describes how Strategic Materials treats personal information collected on the website or platform where this policy is located (“Site”).

This policy does not apply to other Strategic Materials websites or platforms. It also does not apply to the practices of other Strategic Materials’ subsidiaries or affiliates.

We collect information from and about you.

We collect contact information.  For example, we might collect your name, email address, company name, and phone number if you provide this information to us. We may also collect your address and zip code if you provide it.

We collect information you submit. For example, we collect information if you contact us or request information or samples from us.

We collect other information. If you use our Site, we may collect information about the browser you’re using. We might also look at what pages you visit on the Site and how you use the Site.

We use Google Analytics to collect information about how visitors use our website.  For example, we collect details of the site where the visitor has come from and the total number of times a visitor has been to our website. We use information to respond to your requests or questions.  For example, we might use your information to contact you about your inquiry or feedback.

We will share information within the Strategic Materials family of companies, including: American Specialty Glass and Nexcycle.

You have certain choices about how we use your information.

Our Do Not Track Policy: Some browsers have “do not track” features that allow you to tell a Site not to track you. These features are not all uniform. We do not currently respond to those signals.  If you block cookies, certain features on our Site may not work.  If you block or reject cookies, not all of the tracking described here will stop.

This Site and children.

Our Site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 without permission from a parent or guardian. We use standard security measures.

The Internet is not 100% secure. We cannot promise that your use of our Site will be completely safe. We encourage you to use caution when using the Internet. This includes not sharing your passwords. We keep personal information as long as it is necessary or relevant for the practices described in this policy. We also keep information as otherwise required by law.

We may link to other websites or apps or have third party services on our Site we don’t control.

If you click on a third party link, you will be taken to a website or platform we do not control. This policy does not apply to the privacy practices of that website or platform. Read other companies’ privacy policies carefully. We are not responsible for these third parties.
